IELTS Speaking Module Overview
The IELTS Speaking test is a face-to-face interview with a certified examiner. It is designed to assess your spoken English fluency, pronunciation, and ability to communicate effectively in a natural conversation.
Test Format
The Speaking test is the same for both Academic and General Training candidates and lasts between 11 and 14 minutes.

Success Factors
To achieve a high band score, you should focus on the following areas: * Fluency and Coherence: Speaking at length without undue hesitation. * Lexical Resource: Using a wide range of vocabulary and idiomatic expressions. * Grammatical Range: Employing complex sentence structures accurately. * Pronunciation: Being easy to understand, even with an accent.
